When you look at the picture of the ram, it seems artifical.  The colors and texture are very vivid.  Is it true that you took that picture on the slide from your back deck?

Nice photos.  Are the flowers from your yard?

Yes, living up here gives us extraordinary opportunities for great photographs.

No those flowers were actually at the wolf sanctuary in Lucerne Valley.  I got a little creative with the white and purple one, I didn't like the fence behind it....

Thanks for the compliments...  I am moving thru my photography course and it is really starting to show up in my shots....

Nice pictures!  Where are you taking a photography course?  Online or a local junior college?

New York Institute of Photography - it's not online, it's thru the mail.  I get assignments and send them back. They in turn send me my grade with an audio tape talking to me.  It's very good.  I have finished the first unit and have learned ALOT!

Photography is one of my hobbies also and am looking forward to moving into our place in December. I was wondering where the Ram was shot? We did our final walk through of the house yesterday and I took my wife over to Baden Powel. I searched through the binoculars for awhile hoping to catch a glimpse of a Ram but with no luck.

I'm  looking forward to some hiking with the my camera gear.

Toolman,
If it's this ram photo it was taken along Hwy 2 a few miles past Baden Powell / Vincent Gap.
