On a mistake on my part, I forgot to make record of another person who fought and succeeded in making WHS museum out of the old fire house. His name is George Tillitson, a very good friend...the editor of the "Wrightwood Roots", and one of the main sources that I go to to learn more of the historic tidbits of the community.
George became a member under President Frances Yarnel and the recording secretary of the rejuvenated Historical Society. He was also given the task of writing the Constitution for the Wrightwood Historical Society. The starting of the WHS and the museum was done through the efforts of a interesting crowd, including in a very big way, George Tillitson.
A man of good character, he continues to be a life member of the WHS.
