Ham Workshop
« on: Aug 27, 07, 03:18:16 AM »
Thank you to Clint and Susan for opening up your lovely home to us today!  Clint assisted in getting my new Kenwood 2M mobile radio into my Honda, and I had my first QSO with the new radio during tonight's Disaster Communications Group net.

There were also several folks building rollup portable J-Poles to take with them.  Wish I could have done that as well, but the mobile radio install was the priority today.

Workshops like this will continue to help all the hams in Wrightwood.  We are lucky to have such helpful and talented members of our community.

73's all

Thank you for your hospitality, Susan and Clint. The workshop was fun and my antenna works well.  :2thumbsup: :2thumbsup:
I used it while participating on the net last evening.
