Due to activities/ construction projects/ tax reasons here in Burbank, it looks like we will be month-enders

in WW instead of weekenders for at least the next 6 months.
We just finished up with the last of our projects to get our little cabin setup the way we wanted,... roof/decks/interior updates. etc.
On my way back down the hill, I stopped by to see our rental agent to let her know we were ready to open for weekend rental business; to which she replied, "Would you be interested in renting to a really nice school teacher for the next six months?" ... to which I replied "He~~ No!";
Later that evening I casually mentioned this conversation to my wife who promptly asked "Why not rent it?"
The more we thought about it the more it made sense. We would use the time not being able go to WW, to finish some construction projects, and catch up on travel plans to visit out of state relatives, plus the rental income would look good on our tax returns. And spring, summer and fall are our favorate seasons. Winter was budgeted for the rental market anyhow.
So, with a heavy heart, we rented it last weekend. Now, our plan is to drive up to WW once a month for the day to pick up a check, and have dinner.
Hopefully this will attempt to mitigate my WW withdrawal symptoms.
We will miss you WW.... see you next spring....
