Not nearly as great cameras, but more local to home, I'm reposting the Catalina cams that we watched last year. There is more than one nest with a cam.

There's a little mouse tempting fate in the Two Harbor's nest about 12" in front of the Eagle at the moment. The Eagle seems....intrigued. lol

Lots of activity tonight- mom moving eggs around a lot, then she falls asleep, then more movement.....could hatch ANY MINUTE! check it out if you haven't already.
-
The 1st day I had it on there was good audio but since then there's just a lot of noise. Great video
-
Of course since I posted, mommy hasn't moved an inch. Figures ::)
-
We've been glued to it since you made the post and the soon to be parent only moves once in a while ;)
-
This is awesome. I read on the site that this nest weighs 1 1/2 tons? Beautiful.
-
ONE HATCHED OVERNIGHT! More sure to happen today! check it out!!!!
-
It's adorable!
Looks like the other two eggs are partially open.
-
The camera they have installed is a PTZ (pan-tilt-zoom) and as soon as the parent moves off eggs they zoom in.
Here's a screen capture I was able to just get:

First hatch 4/2/11.

Second hatch imminent.
-
Where did the rabbit come from?
-
What incredibly beautiful birds they are! I had no idea the newborn chicks were so white and fluffy, nor did I know how huge their nests are. This is fascinating!
:offtopic: here, but John, do we get any cams of local Jays or Woodpeckers this spring?
-
I've been noticing Flicker's in the nest box and have to get the camera working.
-
Where did the rabbit come from?
John: I asked Rennman the same thing tonight! He said it had been there, I disagree. Talk about "breakfast in bed..."
-
Second hatch 4/3/2011.
First glimpse of second hatchling:

Third hatch expected in a couple of days.

I started watching the eagles (and some Barn Owls) on UStream a couple of weeks ago. The reason I like the Decorah Eagles site so much, is how close the camera is to the eagles!
I have been watching the Barn Owls since before they were hatched, now they are six owlets that the parents spend all night bringing food to them, what a hungry bunch! After 7 PM or so, it becomes a very busy owl box!
Here is that link: http://www.ustream.tv/channel/owlceanside
-
Looks like one of the parents brought some fresh meat to the nest as I see what appears to be a dead bird.
-
check out the camera RIGHT NOW. Time for breakfast!
-
mom feeding again- she's been off the kids more today than I've seen so far!
-
dinner time! Wow, all they do is eat!
-
This is so fun to watch! Earlier today, mamma was feeding one and the other wanted some too! He/she began to peck and pull at the top of his siblings head...too funny...just like little kids! They seem so strong...when is E3 going to hatch?
-
-
Today egg #3 was breaking open from the inside
... and the smorgasbord now includes 3 fish
-
I thought it looked that way (that the 3rd one was hatching) earlier, but Mom kept getting in the way.
-
breakfast time for all THREE!
-
Another variety of fish was on the nest this morning
-
It sure looks like Bald Eagles aren't shy about eating as there's a squirrel now laying on top of the fish.
-
mom mostly in the way, but still good shot of baby...
-
Amazing on how gentle mom/dad are feeding or moving the little guys.
-
load this video of hatchling #3 (let it load and walk away) love the last shot with mom and baby underneath.

-
They are getting cuter and cuter (if that is possible).
-
thank you.
oh, you mean the birds.
-
You too, Mr. Sandman.... ;)
-
everyone's eating, check it out....
-
It's about time he showed up! Was watching last nite, mom was sooooo tired...
-
It's miserably windy there right now. Mom seems to be trying to keep the little ones warm, while her head feathers are getting all blown. Hope everyone stays OK.
-
They eat a lot of fish...guess that's what you find the most of if your nest is at a fish hatchery, but I never connected Eagles and sashimi.
-

weather.com says it's 70 degrees there right now, so they should be ok.
-
today the nest has snow!!! 37 degrees....brrrr....mom has to sit on 'em today.....
-
I am a little worried about you mg, I think it might be time for you to join B.E.A. (Bald Eagles Anonymous) ;D
I do realize that they are awfully darn cute though.
-
"Hi, I am Makgirl and I am powerless against baby bald eagles ....." no really, check 'em out today, nothing cuter.
mom is feeding all three right now, they look like ducklings
-
http://www.ustream.tv/decoraheagles :2thumbsup:
Mommas having a bad feather day with all of that wind.
-
I KNEW this would happen if I ever started watching them....now I am hooked....thanks Makgirl ;D
Just sent the link to my son, who is studying ornithology at Humboldt - he will LOVE IT too!!!
-
All hanging out from under mom today.
http://www.ustream.tv/decoraheagles
-
Daddy brought lunch home. And now he is pulling the feathers off of it. Yum!
-
I've heard eagles are not intelligent...but if that were true...then how in the world would they perform miracles so well? They seem prepared for weather human's cannot deal with...and I've heard the "feather" in and of itself is really something to behold...in regard to weather conditions such as cold and heat and wind. Beautiful stuff
-
Brrr....
The two parents are huddled up in the nest and covered in snow.
-
Posted on the stream site:
"The eaglets are fine, but the lens is ice-coated. We are keeping an eye on it." updated 20 minutes ago
wahhhh, I need my bald eagle fix! I'm going into detox!
-
Oh my goodness - they are my "happy place" right now - it does not look like a very happy place today for the family! They look cold and miserable...
-
I can't hardly bear to watch it! How cold is it in Iowa right now?....poor babies....May The Lord take care of them through the night and bring warmer weather from here on out.
-
-
Excellent information if you haven't seen it:
http://www.baldeagleinfo.com/eagle/eagle8.html
-
Babies are all trying to get under mom today. Should warm up over the next few days....
-
"Awww mom, Fish AGAIN for breakfast? Why can't we have pop tarts like all the other eaglets?"
-
Yikes! No adult in the nest right now! Unless mom/dad are out of camera range....
-
ok, mom and dad are back to supervise the kidlets. They were just finishing the mega party planning because mom and dad were gone, then they had to cancel it at the last minute.... ;)
-
I can't believe how much they have grown! Still all wings and neck, but their beaks are starting to be more defined and their fur/feather/fluff/down is changing color.
Mom and dad are leaving them alone more. Though I suspect they are not too far away, just out of camera view.

Wahhh, raining today. Everyone is wet. Mom/dad looks particuliarly miserable. ("you lazy kids, get up and clean this mess of a nest! I take care of you 24/7 and all you do is lay around and eat and play video games. Just wait until your father gets home....")
-
Check 'em out now. They are amazing.
-
They are amazing. I am amazed at how big they are already. Only 3 weeks and they are developing nicely.
This has been very fascinating. Thanks to everyone for the updates. It reminds me to check in once in a while. :2thumbsup:
-
Look how big their talons have gotten! When they walk, they look like little girls trying to walk in high heels.
-
I can not view the nest today, is the site down or what? ???
-
Still pretty darn cute...all three huddled together.
NP: I log on to ustream when I boot my computer and leave it on all day. They haven't been down since it snowed last week. Perhaps it is an internet problem on your end?
-
I haven't had any issues with it connecting.
-
they look like they are getting more vocal..."where's our lunch, mom?"
The youngest one taking refuge between his older siblings.

Has anyone seen the mother on the catalina two harbors cam shes been gone over 14 hours?
-
Whoaa! I was gone for less than a week and when I return, they are HUGE! Beaks getting big, and their coat is a different color! Still love 'em....
-
They must be in that awkward teenage "Goth" stage- they look like vultures! :P
http://www.ustream.tv/decoraheagles
-
They are huge! But still awkward. Keep watching!
-
They are unrecognizable as the babies I fell in love with 3 months ago, but wow, they still are incredible.
http://www.ustream.tv/decoraheagles
-
latest on my "babies" that are not babies anymore.....
http://www.ustream.tv/decoraheagles
p.s. must be raining there now, they are all standing in their nest shaking their heads. pretty funny.
Banding
RRP hopes to band these juvies and place a satellite transmitter on one of them. The juvies will be captured on the ground a couple of weeks after they fledge. The small band with its identifying color and number goes around one of the ankles and does not bother or endanger the bird. The transmitter is mounted loosely and comfortably like a tiny backpack, and it does not interfere with flight or with head or neck movement. The process takes just a few minutes and does not frighten or harm the birds. It is possible to take measurements of the juvies as they are banded to determine their sex. Banding eventually gives researchers information on how far the bird has flown from its birth nest once it has died or is found injured; the band might also be spotted during feeding, nesting, or migrating and thus can be useful in tracking the eagle's movements. The transmitter will allow researchers to track the juvie regularly via GPS and will yield invaluable information on its behavior. The transmitter is designed to fall off after a few years. Banding and placing the transmitter will be done by Bob Anderson, Director of RRP, and other raptor experts who have banded many birds before and who always follow the safest protocols, and who will have obtained the required permits to do so.

they are all standing in their nest shaking their heads.
Made me dizzy ::)
-
they really don't like that rain, eh?
-
Back after a few days and all have branched! Most beautiful afternoon pic today of them AND mom & dad all FIVE together on a couple of limbs of their tree. Just awesome. Good job, mom & dad.
-
Fascinating info, makgirl! Very interesting to me, how short a time period baby jays fledge (a few weeks), vs a few months for larger birds such as these. Makes sense, I guess. What beautiful creatures!
