I read sometime back about people looking for rocks in the washes after a storm.  I need some and am wondering if it's legal?  I don't want to get in trouble with the rock police!   ;D

I am curious about that too. . . I know we're not supposed to take things out of Nat'l Forest, but if we're taking them to our homes in WW, we are not taking them out of the Nat'l Forest. . .

I called last summer about taking rocks from the wash, I was told it was okay to take a couple, otherwise I needed a permit which was like $10/ton
