Wrightwood Winter Traffic Group,
We are expecting heavy traffic congestion this upcoming Presidents’ Holiday Weekend in the Wrightwood and Big Pines areas. New snow from this last storm has blanketed the area, and the upcoming storm looks to hold off until Sunday night or even Monday morning. Mountain High’s reservations for the weekend are nearing sell out stage, and we are expecting higher than normal snow play visitors as well.
Thank You All for the assistance last weekend; this weekend is expected to have similar visitors and traffic (if not more).
Also, a shout out to the road crews- Caltrans, Los Angeles and San Bernardino Road crews for getting the roads cleared and opened- Angeles Crest Highway opened this morning to Grassy Hollow!
