Cool little animals!
I believe that tarantulas migrate about this time of year.

Not exactly migrations.  The males are out looking for love.  The females tend to stay near their burrows. 

I was brought a local male that was found crossing Hwy 2 in November, during snow flurries. Poor guy!  We kept him until Spring, and then let him lout to resume his quest again.
