If you think you can't, you won't.

Its political crap. The bag said made in China.... What a big story, how did they ever find out that the bag that said "made in China" was in fact from China! OMG!

If you want local organic, you can join a co-op:

I didn't even know they were still doing that co-op! When I lived in OR about 8-9 years ago I worked at a Farmers Market and was horrified when we learned about how they bleached eggs and various other techniques they use in our foods. Thats why we have chickens now. Thanks for that video dreams. Im going to email them right now and sign up! It sure beats driving to Rancho once a week!

I don't understand your point, Jack. If they promote something as organic and it's not certified organic, then they are wrong. This has nothing to do (for me) with political stuff and health care, etc.

Maybe that's why the news story was done, as part of a boycott effort, but that doesn't change that many of their items are not 'locally grown, organic food' like they promote.

USDA organic and certified organic are two completely different types of certification....

Having done quite a few projects in school on organic, natural, etc...it can surprise persons as to the truth behind labeling and certification.

I had joined the co-op, but stopped when I had to cut a few expenses. I just emailed them yesterday to see if they know anyone interested in splitting a membership for the time being.

If there is anyone interested in doing this, PM me.
