Down the hill is looking to be almost back to normal. When things first shut down and there were no cars on the freeways, that was when the sky appeared to be anywhere but southern California. It reminded me of other less-populous states...Alaska came to mind. The way it manifested itself was during sunsets, when the sun was near the horizon there was no orange glow. And midday, clouds that were far in the distance were much more clearly visible all the way down to the horizon. It helped that storms were moving through, but it wasn't just an average clear day. It was something we may very well never see again.
