Best Way WW to SF Bay Area

The drive up to SF via Tehachapi was uneventful (other than some sliding on Sheep Creek, which I reported in the Road Conditions thread), thanks for the advice.  I got to Harris Ranch too early to stop for lunch.  The 7th Standard Road cut across to I-5 worked well, I didn't know about it and used Hwy 46 in the past.  But I noticed you don't get on I-5 at 7th Standard, you follow a frontage road first.  So for the return trip, which I-5 exit would I use?

   Ummm.    Lerdo Hwy might be the name on I-5. If not go to Buttonwillow exit and cross there. 
 
      You sound like yo u timed it right. Heard Tehachipi and the Grapevine both got shut down sat night.
