INCIDENT: False Bomb Report
LOCATION: Loma Linda University Medical Center and Grand Terrace High School
SUSPECT(S): John Albert William Davis, 19 years of age a resident of Phelan, CA
VICTIM(S): State of California

SUMMARY: On Tuesday, 12/08/2015, at approximately 9:54 am, a male suspect called the Loma Linda University Medical Center and said he was "Making a bomb and the hospital better be ready." A few minutes later, the same male suspect called Grand Terrace High School and said there was a bomb on the campus. Both bomb threats were called from the same phone number.

Sheriff Detectives later discovered that a third bomb threat was made at an apartment complex in the city of San Bernardino. The caller's identification showed the same phone number as the other two bomb threats with the name John Davis.

Thorough searches of all three locations revealed no suspicious devices and an investigation began as to where these calls originated from.

Through that investigation, John Davis was found to have an address in Phelan. Davis was contacted and arrested. The phone that was used to make the bomb threats was found in Davis possession with evidence to support the bomb threats he made. Davis was transported and booked into the Central Detention Center for PC 148.1(a)- False Bomb Threats in lieu of $25,000 bail.

LOMA LINDA, Calif. (KABC) --
A 19-year-old from Phelan was arrested under suspicion of making bomb threats at Loma Linda University Medical Center and Grand Terrace High School.

Investigators say a male suspect called Loma Linda University Medical Center shortly before 10 a.m. Tuesday and said he was "making a bomb and the hospital better be ready."

A few minutes later, the same male suspect called Grand Terrace High School and said there was a bomb on campus, officials said.

According to authorities, both calls were made from the same phone number.

Sheriff's detectives said a third bomb threat was made at an apartment complex in San Bernardino. The caller's identification showed the same number connected to the two other threats.

Searches were conducted at all three locations and nothing suspicious was found. An all-clear was given at the hospital and the school shortly before noon.

Detectives traced the number to John Albert William Davis, who has an address in Phelan, and he was arrested. Authorities said they found the phone used in the threats in Davis' possession.

Davis was booked into Central Detention Center under suspicion of making false bomb threats. He is being held in lieu of $25,000.
