Tyrone's riding his bike down Lone Pine. There's a road block near East Canyon, but there's only a little smoke and a distant red glow. No fire in town.

Thank you to John and Cindy for keeping me up to date with what is going on.
I got stuck down the hill without my big out bag and not one of my radios.
I have to make adjustments when we get back home.
Praying for the firefighters safety and for wrightwood to be spared.

According to Sean Wolf of Angeles National Forest, the main fire is holding on the other side of Circle Ridge. You can see a smaller fire approx. three miles down Lone Pine from Helicopter Hill that the fire crews say is "nothing to worry about". The Angeles National Forest Fire crews are pulling off of Helicopter Hill and its seems that Wrightwood should not be too worried at this time.

The fire's 1.5-2 mi E of Clyde Ranch and they have a strike team waiting just in case. They seem cautiously optimistic.
