I have no problem with the people who stayed. If the fire was on the west side of town I might have stayed but being I live on lone pine at east cyn. And was taking a trailer I left Tuesday night. In fact I am glad a few of my neighbors stayed

Watch Leticia's Facebook page; she is heading up to Wrightwood currently and will probably be continuing to post her cell videos as she did the first day. Thanks, Leticia!

The LACSD mutual aid response is complete for this event. They won't be back tonight.

That doesn't make me feel any worse about staying.

"96 homes destroyed plus 200+ outbuildings!"   My God in heaven.  Just prayers for those that lost their homes and structures.  cheryl o7o

BluecutFire Additional evacuation orders lifted in Phelan
Evacuations Lifted In Phelan

Immediate Release

August 19, 2016

Effective Friday, August 19th, at 5:30 p.m., the mandatory evacuation orders for all residents south of Phelan Road west of Green Road to Snowline Road, affected by the Blue Cut Fire will be lifted.

Johnson Road, Sheep Creek Road and Beekley Road south of Phelan Road will re-open.

We appreciate all the people who evacuated in this area. The Blue Cut Fire is burning very aggressively and at one time posed a real danger to residents living in these areas.

We ask that residents returning to the evacuation zone exercise caution. Firefighters, engines, and heavy equipment continue to operate in the area. The San Bernardino County Sheriff will continue enhanced patrols through these areas with additional units.

The remaining mandatory evacuations will be lifted as soon as the danger to residents has been reduced.

Further information: Information Call Center (909) 383-5688 or http://inciweb.nwcg.gov/incident/4962
