How many people grab the Post Office door handle each day?
Do they all use wipes or sanitizer?

Has this person had it for a period of time? In Quarantine? Why do you think it was from the PO and not any other businesses i.e., Jensens, Hardware Store, restaurants, etc. Will this persons name be released so we know if we have come into contact with he/she?

It's a fact that hundreds of hands touch the PO door daily.

I agree with Wrightwood. I thought I was the only person wearing an N95 mask and gloves to the P.O.,Hardware store ,Bank and Jensens when I got back in town. Not much better now 2 weeks later.

When I walked there last night the door was propped open with a large rock. Even at night I wear gloves and mask- and put my mail in a bag for sanitizing at home.

You can call in a grocery order to Jensen's and they deliver to those 65 or older. I got an order yesterday. They left the bags in the driveway, and I removed and disinfected the items individually, and then left them in the sun for the disinfectant to dry. (Sunlight is a disinfectant.) I put the bags they came in in the recycling and then disinfected myself. Then I moved the groceries into the house. And they had toilet paper!!!! 
I somewhat dread going to the post office, as I view it as a large petri dish. I hope they keep the door propped open. I sanitize before, after, and during picking up mail, and go less frequently.
I will advise that hand sanitizer liquefies some marker inks, which can be unintentionally entertaining.
And mail gets a bit wrinkly as the sanitizer dries  Then I put it in the sun to dry.
And remember to disinfect your keys, your steering wheel and everything you touch in your car, and your car door handles.
And don't look at me funny when you see me on my daily walk and talking to myself! I and my other personalities are great conversationalists!

This is a pretty silly notion.  If you were smart, you'd think of this like the flu.  People have it and don't show it.  People have it and think it's a regular flu.  And just because no one has raised their hand for a test and then had the test results published doesn't mean it hasn't already been in or through Wrightwood.  Take the proper precautions.  If you're old, stay inside.  If you're not, don't be stupid and lazy by not taking precautions: wash your hands, cover your cough or sneeze, don't gather in groups, don't touch your face.  And if you're one of those personal freedom weirdos who is going to do whatever they want...I'm beginning to get the sense that your fellow man/woman is going to start MAKING you do things to prevent you from doing harm to others.  You want your personal freedoms, go find your freedoms in a cave in the desert some place far away from normal people.

I'm pretty sure I already had it in January, before it was a thing (no, I don't live in Wrightwood).  And believe me, it's no joke.  It's unlike any flu I've ever had.  Chills so bad I could hardly walk, so much cold sweat, lack of stamina and being out of breath for doing even the littlest things.  You don't want it, and unless you're a sociopath nutjob you don't want to do anything to cause anyone else to have it.

Sorry you got sick in January. I agree with everything you wrote, except for (no surprise) the bit about personal freedom weirdos. True, there are people who grumble in various media and ridicule the restrictions, and they should at least be listened to a little bit. This nation's very foundation is individual liberty and limitations on government power.

I don't care that someone has a lofty title like director of public health, they are a county employee and shouldn't have the power to declare which businesses and public spaces can remain open and which can't. Instead, they should make recommendations to the elected supervisors, who should be hold emergency meetings online as necessary to publicly speak and vote on these matters. Some folks probably think you shouldn't be able enter/leave WW without explaining yourself at a checkpoint. It is good to question which restrictions are necessary and reasonable and which are not.

Our fellow man has already started MAKING us do things differently, we don't have the freedom to choose to dine inside a restaurant, heck you can't walk through a park in WW without feeling like a lawbreaker with all the signs everywhere saying they're closed.

You can't get testing, even if you are symptomatic and ask for it. I know a couple of symptomatic Wrightwood people who could not get testing at the doctor's office due to their young age and a lack of test kits. So they are just isolating at home. Until there are more test kits, our statistics will not represent true infection numbers.
