Air Attack seems to have done a great job, and aircraft is still working it to ensure that it lays down. (Left shoulder needs to be reinforced.) All in all, looking much better. Boots on the ground will be working all night, and for several days and nights to come.
They got this!

Due to more accurate mapping, the #BROOKFIRE is 185 acres, and 10% containment.

There are still no evacuations at this time, however the road into Lytle Creek is only open to residents.

#BrookFire Thursday morning update:

185 acres, now at 25% containment.

Resources assigned today:
- 166 total personnel
- 3 air tankers
- 4 helicopters
-  1 air attack

Weather is expected to be hotter & drier today; smoke may still be visible in the Lytle Creek/Devore areas.

Morris Dam Fire Status, 1425 hrs:  Growing to 120 acres, west of Hwy 39.  0% containment.  No structures threatened.  ANF & @LACOFD
 working in heavy brush. Mult air & ground units assigned.  Hwy 39 now closed.  #DamFire

Alert: HIGHWAY 39 CLOSED, north of Glendora, due to #DamFire.  Please keep roadways clear & pull over for emergency vehicles.  Fire has a rapid rate of spread.  No threat to Glendora at this time.  Air response on scene.

Smoke is showing from my vantage point in Pinon Hills. Expect drift smoke in the Tri-Community.
