I'm sorry to hear that the deputy is in critical condition, but glad he is receiving the care he needs.  I got stuck in some traffic due to this incident, as I had completed an errand not far east of there, and was driving west on Bear Valley and saw all the police vehicles and the cordoned off parking lots.  I was able to continue on my way without incident, but wondered what happened.  I did read the article about it in yesterday's Daily Press.  My prayers are with the officer and his family.

So glad that the officer survived. Turns out the shooter was also a nazi. I only hope that he never sees the outside world again.
