MH closed today as Caltrans hasn't cleared the road to Big Pines

At Mountain High 6-8 foot of new snow with drifts of 15 feet deep

With more snow then we've had in a long time it's a real shame to have the slopes open for only four days before getting rained on.  :(

On a good note Jackson Lake should be full when all this melts.

Conditions

Please be prepared for wet and windy conditions today as our latest storm passes through. The West Resort is open from 9am-10pm however the East Resort (and the Yeti's Snow Play) are closed due to the weather. Coverage is great with a 7-9' base of heavy, machine-groomed snow. Roughly 75% of the mountain has been groomed leaving plenty of natural terrain. In the park, Woodworth Gulch is BACK with new hip jumps and a wall ride. Smokeout has a new step-down jump to a step-up. There is a new 5 pack of jumps on Cruiser and the Small park is back on Creekside.
