...HEAT ADVISORY NOW IN EFFECT UNTIL 10 AM PDT TUESDAY...
...EXTREME HEAT WATCH IN EFFECT FROM TUESDAY MORNING THROUGH FRIDAY
EVENING...

* WHAT...For the Heat Advisory, temperatures up to 94. For the
Extreme Heat Watch, dangerously hot conditions with temperatures
up to 98 possible and moderate to major HeatRisk.

* WHERE...San Bernardino County Mountains.

* WHEN...For the Heat Advisory, until 10 AM PDT Tuesday. For the
Extreme Heat Watch, from Tuesday morning through Friday evening.

* IMPACTS...Heat related illnesses increase significantly during
extreme heat events. Hot temperatures may cause heat illnesses.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Drink plenty of fluids, stay in an air-conditioned room, stay out of
the sun, and check up on relatives and neighbors.
