Your pictures are so wonderful. Do you do nature photography professionally?

I've been involved with photography all my life but not necessarily in nature.

Nature shots have intrigued me for the past few years with the ability of high quality digital cameras. Wrightwood has so much available just outside everyone's front door.

In my case many of the shots are made while i'm sitting inside the house.  [smiley=sunny.gif]

I've heard of lawnchair astronomers, but never a lounge chair photographer. ;) :D

All in all, no matter how you get the shots, they are absolutely splendid pictures and I think it's awesome of you to share them with everyone here on the forum.

Thank you Wrightwood. You're a pretty  8)

I have seen so many squirrels lately and in 1981 there were none. I was wondering if anyone knows if their population is more, less or the same  as it was before they all died off? And by the way Wrightwood the detail of the pictures of the squirrels that your digital camera captures is truly amazing.

Nolena,
The timing of your post was significant.
I was reviewing this topic when my husband called to say he was at the car dealership.  The engine problems he was experiencing was caused by $550 worth of squirrel chewing!
Unfortunately this is the second time in less than a month.
I would say the squirrels are alive and well.

This Squirrel found the peanuts near the suet feeder
and decided to make a feast.
If you look close in the eyes you'll see the house
and clouds in the sky. No trick photography.

So Your The One That Lives In That House Lol!.....

This is ever so slightly off subject but a good read.

Has anyone noticed that our local squirrels are getting a little old?
