Do you think that animals know when the weather will change?
I've got squirrels and stellar's jays emptying out my peanuts this morning like there's no tomorrow.
Nostalgia isn't what it used to be.

Or do they think it's spring like the plants?

I think with this weather, the plants are not the only thing confused!

It now smells sweeter then last Spring outside the house.  The Manzanita are in full bloom with moths at night and bees during the day...plus the hummingbirds.  During the day, the buzzing from the bees is very loud.

You should see the bees all over our fully-blossomed peach tree!  It looks like some of the branches are alive, there is so much activity.  Hope they are friendly bees...  On the flip side, we'll be having fresh peach cobbler with our St. Patrick's Day corned beef!
