SkierBob... so glad you got your camera back. I love these pics. It is weird that they removed the media card and just left the camera. hmmmm... cheryl o7o

Haven't post any photos for a few years....still taking them.

First is a local wild Rainbow trout that is taking a Caddis fly my buddy has tossed up stream.  Just happened to catch him as he grabbed the fly.  All fish were immediately released.  We only fish with barbless hooks and release them in the water without touching them using a Ketchem Release Tool.  That day we pretty much caught a fish a cast.

Still have Hummingbirds here at the ranch.  Had three or four Anna's winter over again.  I take the feeders down until I see them hanging around and then put one up.

Our crop of wild flowers is pretty bleak this year.  Just now losing these blooms which are the Hummers favorite.

This has been a good year for Coyote.  He has made great inroads in repopulating our valley and we have to watch small dogs like a hawk.

fyi; The Redtail Hawk is a nice big adult, likely a female as they are larger than males

"first time picture of a Road Runner"

I was just commenting the other day that I have seen more roadrunners this year than ever before. Wonder why?

I don't know much about Road Runners. I know they mate for life and they are one of the few animals that will kill and eat rattlesnakes.
