Breezymtns, I love that pic of your dog and kitty so much that I saved it in my computer!  I don't know why it does it, but when my screen starts to go dark, all the pics I have stored on here appear, one at a time.  This will add to my screen saver!

Wow Mazzy, that was fast.  She is beautiful.  What happened to only wanting a mid size dog?

lol, she is a mid size dog.  She's smaller than our last dog and large enough to scare the raccoon away.  I'm thinking large is over 60 pounds... anything less than that to me is mid size.

I've actually met her mom and dad and she's more on the smaller size.  She's not going to grow much "bigger" except when we spay her.

What a great picture Breezymtns! You sure picked a sweet looking girl Mazzy!

This guy has had me up since 3am, driving my dog crazy. He learned to unsnap the lid from my old dog food container and help himself every night. I replaced the old container with a new locking one from Mountain Hardware today and he was trying for well over an hour to figure out how to get inside. He sure does not look like he has missed too many meals.

3PinkRoses,

Those puppies are just darling!!!

I have seen plenty of "darling" pups at the pound. PLEASE screen all buyers and make sure they really do qualify as responsible dog owners!!! Please make sure they have forever homes!! I know some people that breed pups and just hand them over to the first person that comes along and forks over the dough!!! It breaks my heart to see animals treated like this :( Yes..I know man has "dominion" over the animals. If one has dominion over something, surely there is an inherent responsibility for the caring of said creatures.

I know.. I know...gypsywolf is harping on the same old thing. Normally I don't get riled. But breeding any dog, purebred or not, for a profit, when there are PLENTY of animals out there already that need homes, just makes me see fiery red :fa-devilwink:

By the way...kudos to 3PinkRoses if she really does take the time to do a check on the prospective buyers :2thumbsup:

I am not trying to blatantly knock anyone personally since I don't know how they operate their business..

Thanks for all the great notes above.  One puppy went to a wonderful Forum Member, 1 went to a Palmdale Politician, 1 went to a lady who worked for a very well known Lancaster Politician (can't give the name)and 1 went to a movie producer!

ok,ok,  maybe I should have screened the politician's homes to make sure those doggies would be raised Republicans!!

Our family adopted a Long-Haired German Shepherd from a GS Rescue in LA. I thought raising an "older" dog might be easier on me and my health. I knew from the git go that the dog we adopted was younger than the "3 yrs old" we were told by the rescue. Well, today the Vet told us that our dog is a puppy! Maybe as old as 1.5 yrs old!! His name is Skylar, and as I was training him, I thought he acted more like a puppy! It sure explains why he acted the way he has!! I have lost 20 pounds since we got him! I did not rescue him, he rescued me :)

"NO, Skylar, you may not sleep on the bed!!"
