I drove like crazy to get these.  I was in Palos Verdes for a party and wanted to get the sunset at Hermosa, I used to live there.  I knew I could drive fairly close to the beach just past the pier.  I was on the strand for the net picture which was taken first.  Then back a bit for the first shot.  They were taken handheld with my Panasonic.

Yes I did run, people thought I was crazy.  I got it before it hit the horizon and then all the way down.  I have about 30 of them.  A few with a man walking, I will process and post another day....

Going to sleep now, thanks for the comments!!!

I also got some pelicans in formation!  I did not know they flew that way...

These goats were in Laguna up away from the beach in the hills.
They let them roam around and eat everything to control the fire danger. Cracks me up! They come with a shepherd and dogs. Been doing it since 2003 some lady told me.

I had to pull over. I swear I am taking my camera with me where ever I go from now on. Nobody would believe half the stuff I see.
Are some of them sheep? She told me they were goats. I believe the last one is a traffic goat!  ::)

If we had that many goats around here...we would be having to fend off the mountian lions.

Having goats up around my neck of the woods is like playing Jerasic park....stake a goat out and it ends up dinner.

Love that CHIP DUCK SHOT

What kind of duck is that anyhoots...looks like he's got a shiner from hanging around the golf course too long.
