What is a Hemi?  (You can tell how much I know about cars.)

Hemi is short for hemispherical head which turned out to be an almost perfect way to burn then expel the gases out of the motor due to it round shape with the spark plug between the intake and exhaust valves. It was so successful that they are still being used today in Drag  Race cars, but were a semi-rare option back in the '60's and increased the value alot.
It also gave chevy people the shakes when they heard one fire up. ;D

Here's a few more. Click on them for full-size, I think the forum cuts them down a little.

Some great pictures and perspective here, seanizzle.   Are you new around here, or just been hiding?

Thanks for the compliment. :)

I lived up there for about five years before moving down to San Bernardino, so I lurk the boards occasionally. I finally got around to registering yesterday so I could share some of the photos from the show.

My mom posts around here pretty often too. ;)

This year the car show was just awesome!  The cars and the layout were just incredible!

I loved the cars and trucks!

Great job with the photos you all!
