Car stereo/video repair?
« on: Oct 12, 07, 04:46:07 PM »
Anyone have a good recommendation for car stero and video repair? My van has a dvd player that no longers "reads" the dvd. Our other car has a cd player that acts up.

Any help out there?
If you think you can't, you won't.

With your money I thought you would just buy a new car when the CD sensor got dirty! ;D

We need to talk sometime about getting you an MP3 player.  Kathy got me one for my birthday and I have about 300 Cd's loaded that I can play via my car FM turner.  My car CD player hasn't been working well but now I no longer need it.

You might want to try the Car Audio and Tint store in Phelan, next to where the new doctors office is going in.  Pretty good place, they did a repair on my stereo and it hasn't acted up since.

We had a DVD system installed in our SUV at California Sound on Bear Valley and Mariposa. We have had a few problems with the unit (no fault of theirs) and every time we have taken it in to them, they have been great! But I would call them before driving down there if it is out of your way, just to make sure they will service equipment they didn't install. Their number is 244-4667. Good Luck!

Thanks everyone! Especially thanks to Chuck, for offerering to buy me a new car instead of repairing the old one. You're so sweet!

I'll check out your suggestions.
