Participated this morning in a LA City Fire NVIS test.

The good news: I was able to communicate quite well with LAFD Station 88 at the 405 and 101. Solid copy on 80 meters at both ends.

The bad news, sort of: It was not on NVIS. It was on the vertical.
VERY interesting that it worked at all.
