Boston Bob says they are quite tasty.  We have a pond with goldfish that some are 10"+ in size.  Last year while on vacation he went fishing in our back yard and ate 5 of them.  I still have plenty, but put a lock on the gate.

The goldfish are not that big of a problem for the trout in Jackson Lake. Their biggest problem is the warm water temperature in the summer.

This year was good for the trout, the water temperature didn't rise as much as recent years. Not too many trout died off this summer.

Well the lake is drained and work continues on removing the cattails.  You can now walk out to what used to be the middle of the lake.

According to the CDFG website; Jackson Lake is supposed to be stocked this week.  In the past it has usually been done on Thursdays.

I'd say Jackson Lake will be ready for fisherman this weekend.   :2thumbsup:

It's usually every other week if past history is true this year. Check out the Fish and Game website.
