went with Spectrum, not bad, no real issues, but I am very excited to be getting 1gig, no more buffering!!

Wes: I just signed up for UIA; in section 4.

My house is actually pre-wired for ethernet, which is very handy.

I would still like to add the Wireless router and have a unique question.

Basically, the wall jack or maybe the ethernet cable itself for the "ideal" location for the wireless router went bad on me. I noticed in the UIA contract that a 30-minute "outside the house" ethernet run is free as part of the service.

Is there any chance that I could instead use the 30-minute free wiring/labor effort to have your guys try to repair the line/jack that is currently installed in my house? If they find that it is more than a 30-minute job, then given an estimated cost I'd be able to decide if I wanted to pay for that or just settle for putting the wireless router in the garage near the ONT (which I think would still provide coverage for most of the house).

After our install I purposely tried to stall it out by streaming HD movies on 2 apple TV's, a mac, a iPad, and an iPhone all at the same time. It still worked

Starting to work on Section 5 next week. We have some Fiber up there but just getting going.
Section 4 Fiber has everything run, waiting for terminals and other parts then splice.

We can try to repair the Ethernet if it is just the ends as part of the 30 minutes, no problem.

UIA is excited to announce that we now have Tech Support available on the weekends. We aren't able to roll a technician, but a tech is available by phone 8-5 on Saturday and Sunday. The number for assistance is 909-605-2000.

I recognize it's a lot to ask but do we have any dates at all for installs in section 4? I've been seeing lot of hark working UIA employees in my neighborhood the last week.

We hope to be ready by the 1st.

We are splicing right now. Once that is finished then testing and scheduled installs.
