Bet the folks living on Desert Front road are thrilled by the increase in OHV traffic testing out their monster tires and trucks

 It is not the Desert Front Road in Wrightwood.  I've seen the signs and they are actually just west of Eaby off of 138 as you are going up the hill to Mountain Top.   Eaby is the west end of the Baldy Mesa OHV area.  It is a small dirt road that curves down to 138 from Eaby.  It goes behind the last house on the north side of 138 as you head west from West Cajon Valley.

Copy....that makes much more sense.  You'd think I'd of heard it called "Desert Front Rd" at some point over the 43 years.
