SPEED LIMITS IN WRIGHTWOOD?
« on: Jul 09, 19, 07:40:55 PM »
We have what I believe to be quite a few people speeding over on Flume Canyon and also Cardinal.
This past Sunday a young "lady" flew past us on Flume Canyon at what I believe was in excess of 35 mph.   My neighbors, who I was talking to, estimated her speed at 50+.   She nearly hit my neighbor and my dog and didn't even slow down.
I'm not sure what the speed limit is but pretty sure it's not 50mph.
We also know where this "lady" lives and debating whether to approach her and let her know we are watching her.
Calls to the Sheriff's Dept did nothing.

Any one know the speed limts in town?

Thanks so much
Dave

Should be 25 mph in residential areas unless posted otherwise.

Contacting the Victorville CHP is what's needed.
(760) 255-8750

It's on the refrigerator magnet mailed to all WW Po Boxes May 2019

Does the CHP ever leave Hwy 2 to do enforcement on residential streets? I'm sure they technically have the jurisdiction, but...

THANKS SO MUCH FOR THE INFO and will save all those numbers.
Just hope some kid doesn't get hit and killed on Flume, Cardinal or any other street in WW due to some people's children.

And, Cheapskate, I've called the Sheriff twice during this issue and twice for other issues.  It's a total waste of time.
