Okay Wrightwood, you need to disconnect the nest cam, it is just too sad looking at that empty nest.

I can't believe not a card or a letter or a phone call from any of the four baby jays.

Thanks! It was a great educational experience.
We have a lot of baby birds in and around our yards now.
They're wonderful to watch.

Due to the huge number of visitors that were viewing the nest our bandwidth usage went through the roof. In the month of June we used 50 gig of bandwidth due to the livecam. I intentionally turned it off for the balance of the week once the babies left the nest to keep from paying a large bill for excessive bandwidth. Now that the month is over I'll return the camera to the guzzler when I get a chance.
