I do remember another "grocer", the Drurys (sp?) lived on lark across the street from the Anderson's, just below us. In the 60's Drury had a little grocery store where Mt. High Pizza is now located.
Isn't history GREAT!
When I first started coming to Wrightwood, in 1965, the little market where Mile High Pizza now exists, was called Smith's Market (I think it was already Smith's by then). And I remember shopping at Holiday Foods (now Jensen's), when they were in the building that is now Copper Creek and First Feather.
I have lived in my house, a couple of blocks from the properties you are discussing here, for over 28 years, so I know exactly which cabins you are talking about, although I don't know anything about them except what I have learned here. Yes, history IS fun - although I sure didn't like that subject when I was in school and HAD to learn it!
