Huxley-Petterson's House
« on: Oct 11, 05, 03:37:33 PM »
My Bride & I bought the Huxley House nearly 10 years ago.  One of the previous owners was the Peterson family.  Ms. Peterson was a school teacher at Wrightwood Elementary School.  About 5 years ago one of the Peterson daughters stopped by and we gave her a tour of the home. She seemed happy with what we have done with the home and provided us with some interesting history.  I would like to find Mr & Mrs Peterson to see if they have any old photos of the home they would be willing to share.  We belong the the Wrightwood Historical Socity and would like to share some of the old photos with them as well.  If anyone knows how I can reach them please let me know.

Thanks!!!

I am a former student of Mrs. Peterson - when you "find" her, tell her about this forum.  Maybe she'll stop by and I can say hello!

I want to thank  Barb Van Houten for providing me with the information to locate the Petersons.  I spoke at length with Jerry Peterson last Friday.  He is a delightfull man full of life at 81 years young.  He provided me with some interesting background on the house and is going to send me some old photos.  I provided him with the WW Website address and he told me he and his wife will be checking it out.  I told him a former student of his bride is anxious to let her know she misses her and of the positive impact she had on her life.

Thank you for all you do for all of us!!!
