The homes remind me of a Thomas Kinkade painting, especially with the light on the one at the end of the cul de sac. And the sky is to die for. It looks like a painting from Doug Oliver.

Simply beautiful.

Just returned from a trip to Washington state and the Skagit Valley.  We floated the Skagit and saw at least 3-400 Bald Eagles of various ages and sizes perched along the river waiting for Salmon.  This one looked over the valley with a majestic air about him and just tolerated us as we floated by on a raft.

This immature Eagle (still doesn't have a full set of white head and tail feathers) had just lifted off a sand bar to chase a Sea Gull with a scrap of Salmon as we quietly floated by.

Great shots!  You should make a table top book.  Oh you did.  How do we buy one?

Gear Up!

I have a few more.  You would be amazed how few photos turned out from 3 2GB photo cards.  Thank goodness for digital....I could never afford real film.

How many pictures does a 2GB card hold?  I don't know anything about photography, but to capture a bird in flight, as in the pic above, do you shoot at a fast - well, whatever, I can't think of the word I want.  Anyway, I really enjoy your bird and animal pics!   :2thumbsup:
Maybe what I was trying to say is shutter speed?

At the highest JPEG setting...around 350.  I shoot at a fast speed and track my camera with the moving bird.  I have a setting that will take 3 pictures per second.  Thankfully for large storage cards....many of them are not in focus or poorly framed.

Great photo of the moon way back on the first page of this thread, John.  I enjoy the softness of all the edges...
