There is a spring in the pocket meadow next to Mtn High West that flows in the early Summer.  It forms it's own channel for a month or so.  Seeing this plant through the water was very interesting.....knowing that just days before, it had been dry.

Hey Wildman,
Are you using Photoshop to add your copyright signature on your images?

You could.  I use ACDCee.  It has a cool feature that works as you see it.  That program really seems to have it all and unless you want all of the features the photoshop suite offers, it really is a powerful and reasonably priced workhorse.

There are all kinds of horses on our place.... real ones that need to be fed and these kind...that just look good and don't require much care.

Most of my photography is about 90% luck.  Here's a good example.  I was out feeding the horses this morning and part of my routine is cleaning and filling water buckets.  I do that every morning but this morning I was prompted to walk to the house and get the camera.  I shot this photo.

While I was shooting that photo, I noticed the Moon was setting behind the hill and the tree and shot this picture.

When I downloaded the camera to see what I had shot (I have a great deal of trouble seeing through the viewfinder), I saw that there was an Owl or Hawk sitting in the tree.  You decide what it is....I can't tell.

Looking at those sky shots it appears that sensor in the camera is relatively clean  8)

Yes, it would appear so!  Thanks for helping me out(Wrightwood helped me clean the boulders off of my sensor and lenses)....the camera worked perfectly for the memorial.

This little Falcon was resting on a stump and then launched himself into the air.
A compilation of three photos.

This taken at the same time as the other spring shot.  Water was just coming out of the ground in a nearby mountain meadow and the grass that had been growing looked interesting. (At least it did to me....I am easily amused!)

Redtail swoops by on the hillside.  An older picture from the archives.  He was a younger bird and was really full of it that day.

Home to Mosquito Fish, Crawdads, Toads, Frogs, Water Skimmers and Damsel Fly larvae, our pond is the watering hole for hundreds of furry and feathered creatures.

Moon from our house.  I have to shoot these handheld because I still don't use a tripod.  One of these days.

This Hummer has a regal look to it as it surveys it's domain here at the ranch.  From the archives....one of my favorite (and earliest) hummer pictures.
