Okay, I looked for a bell smiley so I could chime in but finding none,

We will be using the Gordon West / W5YI  book this time around.
I suggest everyone buy it now and start studying.

There is an all new presentation in production!

Hey Clint,

I have several people who would like to attend the training session.  Where will it held and how many students can you accommodate?
What is the price?  Will you have good snacks? (If so, i may take the class again)   ;D

At the moment I do not have enough confirmed students to hold the class as scheeduled. Perhaps we are too close to the holidays?

If you are interested post here or PM me or e mail me, and sign up, or the class will be rescheduled for February.

Next Amateur Radio Licensing Workshop  will be February 16th and 17th 09:00 to 16:00 each day with a 1 hour lunch break. The test should be Saturday February23rd but that is tentative.

The class that was supposed to be in Januray was potponed due to lack of interest. So if you want to take this, reply here and send me a PM with your e mail address.

Also purchase the Gordon West Technician Class book from www.aesham.com and start studying.

I took the Ham course from Clint and it's a great class.  I believe the book is around 10-15 bucks.  The study tests on line were the key to my success.  Clint's excellent teaching, coupled with great graphic illustrations of principles is extremely helpful also.  He keeps things fun and will explain things.

Practice the tests on line now and you will amaze yourself when it comes to your own test.  I am very technically challenged and between the two, got a respectable grade on my final exam.  It's a great two days and the result is something that is both fun and very useful.

Hmm, I never figured you for a BMW-type person.  More of an Audi S8 perhaps?

Ordered MakGirls first HT, a VX-150 like mine, with the requisite accessories.  She's been studying hard to pass the test!

Clint,

I don't believe I've ever seen a HAM antenna on a BMW.  Do the roof rails run "center" like on my chevy or "offset" like on the ford.   ;D

I'm still working on getting my Mobile radio into my Corolla with a trunk mount.
