Residential LiveCam is active during daylight hours and special events. The Residential LiveCam began in early 2001 to help local residents & commuters view snow conditions first hand.

Location is at 6100ft above sea level in a residential area of Wrightwood near the base of Heath Canyon.

Last year this livecam followed the first 20 days of baby "Steller's Jay" birds and captivated people from around the world. For last years photos click here.

What began with a small piece of string on 3-26-02 was developing into a "Steller's Jay" nest. Part of the nest had blown down with the gusty winds during the week of 4-16-02. On 4-24-02 a couple of Finch birds began dismantling the nest.

Mother nature is in charge of this project and we are just observers.
