Everyone knows that CR&R observes Memorial Day and that your trash pickup day this week is postponed by one day, right?  Just wanted to make sure.

Trash Pickup?
Does anyone know when CR&R will pick up trash?

I know the snow made pickup difficult and I'm not mad, but I do want to know what day we should dig out the cans.

Call CR&R to be sure
They don't answer their phones on the weekend.

So I guess we dig out for Monday, even though Monday pick-up is unlikely.

Maybe someone knows what happened in the past?

CR&R Observes the Following Holidays

    New Years Day
    Labor Day
    Memorial Day
    July 4th
    Thanksgiving Day
    Christmas Day

If the holiday falls during the week, collection for the remainder of the week is one day behind. For example, if Dec 25th is a Monday, and your normal collection day is Thursday, we'll see you on Friday.

Trash pickup this week
I can't find the thread about CR&R holiday closures, but I know that July 4 is one of the days that is included for schedule changes.  Since the 4th was on Saturday, does anyone know if pickup days are affected this week?  I don't know if they took last Friday or this Monday for their holiday.  Thanks.

So glad to read this!  I've been an avid recycler for many, many years, and it's been really bothering me to know that all those items have been going into the land fill.  Thanks for posting this, John.   :2thumbsup:

Did CR&R stop recycling services?  I started to notice in June that only one CR&R truck comes around on trash days.  They load both the garbage and recycling bins into the same truck.  I have checked the CR&R website and they do not state any reduction in services due to COVID-19 or anything else.  I have not contacted CR&R directly yet, but I was wondering if anybody else has noticed this or had any information.

Blue and green trash cans are the bear proof ones. Other people may have grey and black but they're marked as to what goes in which one.

Trash Pickup and Recycling
November 19, 2020

Just a reminder, now that CR&R is picking up recycling separate from regular trash, we are hearing that customers are putting regular trash in the recycle bin.  If regular trash is in with the recycling, the recycling may not be completed.  In addition, construction related materials (rocks, concrete, dirt, etc.) are being put into the bins.  These items should be taken to the dump to be disposed of.  Paint and oil are considered hazardous waste and have to be disposed of during a hazardous waste event. Thank you all for your help during this time.
