I've heard eagles are not intelligent...but if that were true...then how in the world would they perform miracles so well? They seem prepared for weather human's cannot deal with...and I've heard the "feather" in and of itself is really something to behold...in regard to weather conditions such as cold and heat and wind. Beautiful stuff

I can't hardly bear to watch it! How cold is it in Iowa right now?....poor babies....May The Lord take care of them through the night and bring warmer weather from here on out.

ok, mom and dad are back to supervise the kidlets. They were just finishing the mega party planning because mom and dad were gone, then they had to cancel it at the last minute....

I can't believe how much they have grown! Still all wings and neck, but their beaks are starting to be more defined and their fur/feather/fluff/down is changing color.

Mom and dad are leaving them alone more. Though I suspect they are not too far away, just out of camera view.

Wahhh, raining today. Everyone is wet. Mom/dad looks particuliarly miserable. ("you lazy kids, get up and clean this mess of a nest! I take care of you 24/7 and all you do is lay around and eat and play video games. Just wait until your father gets home....")
