Need a cheap washer, anyone have one they are not using???  My daughter's broke.  She has 3 kids and the laundromat is $20 a pop.

Thanks.

Angelwolf, hopefully someone will have a bigger washer to sell at a bargain price.....but if that doesn't happen, she could do what I did: get a compact washer that hooks up to the sink.  I ordered a Haier HLP21N, because my house is pretty small and our water arrives in a truck, and most hardware stores have machines "on sale" that cost $800. or much more.  I ordered the machine through Target online, and at the time it was about $210.00; I forget about shipping cost.  My hub and I were able to easily heft it into the back of our Nissan.  I can lift it by myself, and I got a wheeled planter-dolly so I could just wheel it easily around the kitchen.  It has a stainless steel tub, simple controls and has been happily washing everything for a year and a half.  It does about one-half to one-third of a load that most home washers would do, but with it right in my house it hasn't been inconvenient.  And I use a lot less water than any full-size washer.

She'll still need a dryer, but they're often cheaper used than used washers......and clotheslines are much cheaper still!  Just a thought - I hope she finds something that will work for her.

That sounds like a possible temporary fix.
Laundry drying bars can always be set up as a temporary fix, also.
It's tough with kids. They produce dirty laundry out of thin air.

Looking for a roommate?
Hello everyone!
I am moving out of my house in Wrightwood. I work in wrightwood and would still like to live in town. I was wondering if anyone is looking for a roommate and has a room to rent. I am a 24 year old female. I look forward to hearing back from anyone interested in renting a room.

Thank you!

I moved this topic to another board. I'm not sure how to delete it from this board.

I have a very nice Lowepro camera back pack for sale. I bought it a couple years ago to use for taking my camera gear out to photograph the Big Horns. I ended up never using it due to other weekend commitments. It is new out of the box sitting in my closet doing nothing. I decided it should go to a photographer that could use it at half the cost of new. Those that know Lowepro products, this pack is very well made.

I am asking $200.00

Here's the link to the back pack http://products.lowepro.com/product/Super-Trekker-AW-II,2050,14.htm

Thanks for the info, she found one for $30 about 20  min from her house and they fit it in their PT Cruiser.  :)

i'm looking for a few old watches. the kind you would normally throw out. not looking for modern style LED, but the wind up kind, self winding is OK too. they don't need to have the bezel or crystal or be usable, as they aren't going to be used as watches. basically just looking for the ineards.

can pay, but not much.

For sale Nordic Track MTN 740 Stepper. In excellent condition. Paid $600.00 selling for $400.00.

Features include: iFit compatibility, heart rate monitor built into handrails, Cool Aire fan built into console, workout console that displays time, speed, steps, calories, fat calories, verticle feet and pulse.

I love this thing! Unfortunately, I am no longer physically able to use it  :'(  and would like to find it a good home.

I am looking for gently used blue fiber Food grade 55 gallon barrels. They will not be used for drinking water, so recycled will do.

I tried craigslist and eBay, no luck.

Does anyone know where I can get them?

Check our local Pennysaver as I have seen ads recently for those and the steel drums for a reasonable price.

I bought a few at:
National Containers
16655 Koala Rd, Adelanto, CA 92301
760 246 0512

They have from 30, 50 gal drums and larger reinforced boxes if you have space. Call them and work out what you need. There is no store and it is cash only.
