There are some locations where the ladybug hatches happen every year. Some years are heavier than others.

It was pretty funny one year at WW Elementary. I picked up my son on the field and watched as the kids ran through ladybug swarms. It was like a miniature version of Hitchcock's The Birds. Of course The Ladybugs doesn't present quite the same horrific image.

Went to the cabin today and saw that most of the live ladybugs had flown away, but we had hundreds of dead ones on the porch. Wonder why they swarmed there just to die.  ???
