NORTH PARK FIRE: W Northpark Blvd / N Mountain Dr. (Near 56th and I st) 10+ acres, well established in a canyon drainage, ice requesting 10 additional type 3 engines. SBCoFD, USFS, Cal Fire and air resources responding

Containment on the 50-acre #NorthparkFire is now at 75%. Crews are currently sheltering in vehicles during the rain. There is no concern of debris flows or mudslides in the neighborhood due to the fire.

After the rain, firefighters will continue to root out the fire in the understory and duff. We remain in unified command with @SBCOUNTYFIRE.
