Tomorrow, October 6, 2020, California Incident Management Team 11 will transfer command of the Bobcat Fire to incoming Incident Commander Seth Mitchell and the Angeles National Forest.

Saw a report of a new fire outside the Bobcat perimeter near Blue Ridge campground. You can see it on the Mtn High West camera - just smoke.

Location: Jackson Flat x Pinyon Ridge Truck Trail; Paradise Springs, CA
Reported acres: 10
Rate of spread: moderate
Report on Conditions: 5-10 nighttime acres in heavy timber, just outside of the Bobcat scar. SW winds 3-5 MPH.
Structure threat: yes, evacuating Jackson Flat and Grassy Hollow campground.
