This week and next, our firefighters are constructing hand line in preparation for a prescribed burn operation in the Wrightwood area. A prescribed burned will reduce the amount of potential fuel in an area - decreasing the potential for catastrophic wildfires.   #GoodFire

Accessing the Blue Ridge zone this time of year with equipment may be interesting with the mountain open and blocking the road but guess they could access up the runs at east.
