I do not know who has short term rentals but I think if you do you should be aware of the changes and notify others in the lodging association who might be interested.

The TL;DR version is: if you're operating an AirBnB or VRBO type rental without the appropriate permits from the County, and you get caught, the fines will be quite a bit higher.

If you have a permit for your short-term rental, this won't affect you.
