Do you think this is something to be concerned about? Anything specific we should do now to prepare?

Or will this be a nothing burger?

Try to remove as much snow as you can off flat roofs and decks. The snow will initially absorb all the rain for a heavier load. Snow levels will be much higher with this event.

So far the rain gauge is showing .56" of rainfall today.
I'd guess that the snow pack has reduced by at least 1 foot since last night. (been gradual so far)
Last night's winds and 46 deg temperature helped.

Rain has really picked up here 3 miles SW of Palmdale. 

I've been watching this person's yard in Big Bear.. puddle is growing.
