We have a new hiking trail map in town here at the hardware store. Chris has drawn maps of the mountains since he was 12 years old. We call him the hike-a-holic. Wrightwood-Big pines map is his latest creation, he also made a map for Chantry Flat-Mt Wilson in 2014. Check out his web site canyoncartography.com to see how he creates his maps. It is Chris's hope that this map will introduce local residents and visitors to the wild beauty of our local mountains while reacquainting long time outdoors people with some overlooked trails. So come in and purchase his map it's pretty awesome

Just a quick thank you for Teri at Mountain Hardware! Someone had a UPS package delivered to our old address; they brought it to Mountain Hardware to return --- and Teri realized it was for us and gave me a call. Gotta love this small town and the wonderful people in it!!! Thanks Teri!

We would like to let all our customers know that we are having temporary winter hours. We will be closing at 5pm and opening at 8:30. Sunday will stay the same, from 8:30 till 4:30. So spread the word !!

The employees here at Mtn hardware not only work here in the store we also go out and pick up trash, and broken sleds. Just last week we had put in 22 hours of trash pickup . Also Monday while we were out we had several bags in our truck and Caltrans took our bags and disposed of them. We have also rented a extra dumpster for the extra we pick up!
