Thank you ForestGal that was awfully sweet of you to say. One of these days she is going to have to go on a hike with your Heidi. Does Heidi get along with Bisquits as well as Sara does? Oh, Sara said I should give you some karma for saying nice things about her. ;)

  :2thumbsup:

My 9-lb. Heidi loves everybody!!

Heidi and Biscuits get along very well.  Nolena knows how to control him.

And I can't let Heidi off leash - she's just too tiny and I love her so much - but she does fine on 5 or 6 mile hikes!

K9luvr,do you take them to the beach between Huntington and Bolsa Chica?

No, I've been to that beach but I go to one north of Ventura on Hwy 101.  Both are about 2 hrs from my house (I don't live in WW) but the one at Ventura is a little less crowded.

Two weeks ago at the beach Sadie was so cute playing with a little mix dog that weighed about 8-10 lbs (she weighs 50).  She was so careful not to knock the little guy over but they were running all over the beach.  And I was soooo proud of her at her last PT session.  There was a chocolate lab that had had a stroke and they were working on getting her to be able to walk again.  Sadie was playing with her and "Jamocha" was having a great time.  Plus Jamocha was stretching her bad leg and wagging her tail.  The (canine) physical therapist said it was the best PT that Jamocha could have because she didn't even realize she was stretching and exercising.  We stayed an extra 15 minutes just so Sadie could give Jamocha a workout (and have fun doing it).  The other dogs don't like to play with Jamocha because of her partial paralysis.

It seems like this year we have tons of lizards compared to other years.  They never seem too afraid of us.  This guy posed but wouldn't smile.

Nice animal shot.  Hope you were using the long lens for this....those antlers look formidable.  One part of me says this is an Elk and the other says it is a Deer.
