On the MAC I get blue question marks instead of the red X.  When I click on them and on the links, I get blank pages....

Another feeble attempt at humor on my part goes awry. :(

Looks like the recent burns are doing well for more than just Wrightwood residents.

Snakes are out and about. The other day we were inspecting a new rental in the Juniper Hills area and found this little guy at the bottom of some stairs.

Here he is close up (zoom is a good thing :D )

He wasn't moving. It was too cold out, and he was simply sunning himself.

You should enter the one with the red flower in some sort of contest!

Wow, Angelwolf.
Those are some challenging topics - the honeybee in flight and the grackle (?).

I tried some honeybee shots on our apple blossoms a week or two ago, but I wasn't able to freeze them in flight. I'll post some of the better ones (not in flight) eventually.

And the grackle - any black subject is always a challenge to get in focus (if you use autofocus) and to get the proper exposure.
I've had a heck of a time getting good shots of our Rottie.

Great shots!

Thanks Jon.  The bees were pretty easy, they were feeding for along time.  I am not allergic to them, so I get right up on them up in the tree or the flower....  Had my camera on the fastest shutter speed as well.

I love those black birds.  In the evening the sun is right in a certain spot that they always go for seeds.

Good Luck.

Under the category of pet...It's been a while since I shared pics of "Da two Yoots" (search it without the quotes) not to mention the fact that I'm out of practise with Photobucket...so, I thought I would update the kids.

This is Majycke Cat, she likes to lay on daddys' amplifier (until I fire it up!)

And this is Mydnyte, he likes to watch CatTV channel 1 (fish)

Angelwolf, those photos are just amazing. I agree with gypsywolf that you should consider entering contests. It's neat to do and gives your work wide exposure. (As it were, sorry for the pun!)

And Laughlinguy, what a gorgeous cat!
